About Apple Rumors

Welcome to Apple Rumors, your go-to source for all things Apple. My name is Robert DeLuca, and I’m a software engineer with over 12 years of experience working for startups and building custom software. My journey with Apple news and rumors began long before my professional career.

In between middle and high school (2008), I ran a website called apple-rumors.net, which competed with MacRumors (for ~6-8 months, ha!). As my passion for software development grew, I focused on building my skills and career. However, my enthusiasm for Apple news never waned.

Over the years, I’ve observed the landscape of Apple news sites and found myself increasingly dissatisfied with the direction they’ve taken. This dissatisfaction, coupled with my enduring passion for Apple, has led me to make a comeback with Apple Rumors.

Here at Apple Rumors, the mission is clear: to provide a high-quality reading experience that is ad-free and member-supported. We prioritize substance over sensationalism, delivering news without the BS or clickbait that has become all too common.

As a software engineer who deeply cares about the web, I am committed to upholding these principles. Apple Rumors is designed to be a reliable and enjoyable source for the latest Apple news and rumors. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
